The team is responsible for strategic investment planning, end-to-end grant evaluations, applied research, hands-on project events and high-level stakeholder engagement. Working alongside seasoned experts in public policy and community affairs, you will operate in a supportive environment dedicated to driving measurable, long-term social change.

Reporting to the Senior Executive, you will manage high-value philanthropic grants and strategic community initiatives. Candidates with deep subject-matter expertise and a demonstrated track record in a dedicated focus area—such as Health, Education, Youth Empowerment, Ethnic Minorities, Elderly Care, or Mental Health—are strongly preferred.
Key responsibilities include:
...- Grant Assessment & Application Vetting: Evaluate complex donation and program applications for feasibility, strategic fit, and operational risks. Analyze project budgets and applicant backgrounds, drafting formal approval papers and board submissions.
- Landscape Research & Strategy: Conduct applied research (literature reviews, sector data analysis, focus groups) on emerging social trends to shape future funding focus areas.
- Portfolio & Risk Monitoring: Monitor funded projects to ensure milestone delivery, output compliance, and budget adherence; evaluate and process project modification requests.
- Cross-Sector Stakeholder Management: Act as the key liaison between external executive partners (government representatives, academic bodies, NGO directors, consultants) and internal corporate units (Finance, Procurement, IT, Legal).
- Thought Leadership & Platform Convening: Support international forums, knowledge-sharing platforms, and multidisciplinary programs to convene scholars, policymakers, and industry leaders.
- Executive & Secretariat Support: Prepare high-level presentation materials, executive speeches, briefing papers, and provide secretarial support for internal leadership committees.
skills & experiences required
- Education: A Bachelor's or Master's degree from a top-tier local or international university is preferred
- Experience: Minimum 4 to 8 years of relevant experience within a grant-making body, family office, public administration unit, corporate sustainability/ESG division, management consultancy, or major NGOs, ideally
- Writing Excellence: Exceptional explicit written communication in both English and Chinese. Proven track record in drafting formal executive papers, policy summaries, or complex grant proposals.
- Stakeholder Agility: Polished interpersonal skills with experience managing relationships with senior leaders, public officials, or academic experts.
- Core Competencies: Strong analytical acumen, structured problem-solving skills, high attention to detail, and a deep interest in social development.
