- Our client, a long-established developer with a diverse portfolio spanning commercial, office, and residential properties in Guangdong, is expanding. They're seeking experienced Retail leasing talent to join their team.

- Develop and execute comprehensive retail leasing strategies for the company's shopping mall in Guangdong, aligning with overall business objectives and market trends.
- Lead the full leasing cycle for retail tenants, from prospecting and negotiation to lease execution and tenant relationship management.
- Identify and target high-quality retail brands, both local and international, that complement the project's positioning and target demographic.
- Conduct in-depth market research and analysis on retail trends, competitor activities, rental rates, and tenant mix to inform leasing decisions.
- Prepare and present compelling leasing proposals to prospective tenants, showcasing the unique value proposition of the developments.
- Negotiate favorable lease terms and conditions that maximize revenue and ensure a strong tenant mix, while adhering to company guidelines.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with retail operators, industry associations, and brokerage firms to build a robust network and pipeline.
- Collaborate closely with internal departments including asset management, property management, marketing, legal, and project development teams to ensure seamless execution and tenant satisfaction.
- Monitor retail tenant performance and proactively address any issues or opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare regular leasing reports and forecasts for senior management, detailing progress, market insights, and strategic recommendations.
- Mentor and develop junior leasing team members if applicable, fostering a high-performance culture.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in retail leasing, with a strong focus and proven track record in retail leasing within a reputable developer or major retail landlord.
- Demonstrated success in achieving ambitious leasing targets and securing high-quality retail tenants.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in written and spoken Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese preferred) and English.
