Our client is a global investment firm is looking for a strategic Director of APAC Technology to lead the evolution of their regional distribution and client technology platform. This role is the critical link between the APAC business leadership and the global technology organization. You will be responsible for ensuring that the technology stack—encompassing sales tools, data analytics, and client reporting—drives competitive advantage across the regional market.

- Partner with senior business stakeholders to align local business objectives with a global technology vision, while defining and executing a multi-year technology roadmap that balances regional market nuances with global scalability.
- Act as a trusted advisor to C-suite executives, translating complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies and vice-vers
- Act as the key thought leader to identify operational bottlenecks, streamline data flows, and implement cutting-edge tools for regional staff.
- Identify digital transformation or process re-engineering opportunities to enhance client outreach and operational efficiency.
- Lead and mentor the regional team while providing oversight for global business analysis, project implementation, and operations.
- Drive the full lifecycle of change—from building business cases and calculating ROI to managing project budgets and resources.
skills & experiences required.
- Bachelor's Degree or above in Computer Science or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in a leadership role with a focus on strategic planning, project implementation, and team management within the technology space.
- Extensive background in asset management or wealth management, with a deep understanding of relevant domains and business workflows.
- Proven track record in cutting-edge technologies including, but not limited to, digital platform development, data & machine learning, AI, sales enablablement automation and business intelligence tools etc..
- Deep familiarity with the regulatory and operational landscapes of APAC markets.
- Proven ability to identify gaps or obstacles in business and suggest workable solutions based on industry best practices.
- Exceptional ability to translate complex business concepts into technical requirements.
- Professional-level fluency in English; proficiency in Chinese is a significant advantage. Candidates who are currently based in Hong Kong or Singapore will be considered.
