- Act as the key thought leader within the IT department, leading the application and infrastructure teams (10+ FTEs) while overseeing their daily activities and performance.
- Work closely with senior business stakeholders across departments to define, align, and deliver IT strategies, roadmaps, policies, budgets, and action plans for digital transformation projects.
- Research emerging technologies and utilize in-depth knowledge across multiple technical areas to provide solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
- Review and manage manpower, budgets, and timelines based on evolving project priorities.
- Serve as an internal consultant to suggest workable, scalable solutions that meet specific business needs.
skills & experiences required.
- Bachelor's Degree or above in Computer Science/Business Administration or a related discipline
- 15+ years of IT experience with a well-rounded background in digital solutions and operations, including application development, ERP systems (Oracle preferred), eCommerce, and infrastructure.
- Solid experience with ERP systems for supply chain purposes such as Order Management Systems (OMS) or Transportation Management Systems (TMS) is highly advantageous.
- Proven track record in a leadership role (Senior Manager or above) within the commercial sector, ideally managing teams of 8+ FTEs. Backgrounds in Retail, FMCG, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing are preferred.
- Proficiency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. Must be currently based in Hong Kong with a valid work permit.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to collaborate with senior stakeholders and translate complex technical concepts into simple, actionable language.
- Experience in planning and developing annual budgets, project timelines, and manpower allocation.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
- PMP certification is a plus
