- Act as the key thought leader within the IT department, leading the application and infrastructure teams while overseeing their daily activities and performance.
- Serve primary IT business partner to senior stakeholders, translating business goals into scalable IT roadmaps.
- Work closely with senior business stakeholders across departments to define, align, and deliver IT strategies, roadmaps, policies, budgets, and action plans for digital transformation projects.
- Lead business analysis efforts by identifying operational pain points, gathering technical requirements, and Re-engineering business processes to improve efficiency.
- Manage the full IT lifecycle including, application development, infrastructure, cybersecurity, operations and budgeting etc..
- Review and manage manpower, budgets, and timelines based on evolving project priorities.
- Serve as an internal consultant to suggest workable, scalable solutions that meet specific business needs.
skills & experiences required.
- Bachelor's Degree or above in Computer Science or a related discipline
- 15–20 years of IT experience, with at least 8 years in a leadership capacity. Experience in the manufacturing sector with knowledge of relevant business workflows is a must.
- A well-rounded background in digital solutions and operations, including application development, ERP/CRM systems, eCommerce, infrastructure, Business Intelligence (BI) tools, and digital workplace technologies.
- Experience with Industry 4.0 projects is a plus; must be comfortable with occasional travel for IT project implementation.
- Exceptional business analysis skills; able to dissect business problems and present technical solutions to non-technical executive leadership.
- Procficient in English, Cantonese and Mandarin speaking, and currenrly based in Hong Kong with valid work permit.
- Proven experience in planning and developing annual budgets, project timelines, and manpower allocation for overseas teams.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and problem-solving skills, with the curiosity to adopt new technologies that enhance operational efficiency
