- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for the digital payments systems, aligning with the company's overall vision and growth objectives.
- Innovation and Application Development: Oversee the entire product lifecycle from ideation and development to launch and continuous enhancement. Drive the creation of innovative and user-centric digital payment solutions that meet the evolving needs of the end-users.
- Resources Management: Take full ownership of the budgeting, manpower, project timeline and driving growth.
- Team Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 30+ FTEs, encompassing both IT application development and digital paymenet solution specialists. Foster a collaborative environment and support professional growth.
- Governance & Standards: Ensure all digital payment solutions and operations are fully compliant with regulations set by the HKMA and other relevant regulatory bodies.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the digital payment systems, ensuring reliability, security, and a seamless customer experience.
skills & experiences required.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science , Business Adminstration or a related discipline.
- 20+ years of combined experience in architecture design, project/programme management, and product management, with significant recent experience in a senior leadership role (Associate Director or above) within the banking and financial industries.
- In-depth understanding of the digital payments ecosystem, including payment gateways, mobile payments, e-wallets, and cross-border payments.
- Experienced in managing application development teams with a strong understanding of the SDLC.
- Strong understanding of the regulatory requirement and best practices within the industry.
- Demonstrated experience leading and managing high-performing teams, with a strong ability to inspire and motivate.
- Strong strategic thinking, business planning, and resource management skills.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluency in both spoken Chinese and English is mandatory; and a valid Hong Kong work permit is required.
