About the Role Our client is a leading regional Securities & Financial Institution with a strong Global Markets presence. They are currently expanding their Fixed Income desk and are looking for a Fixed Income Sales that targets TW Banks, ideally with connections with offshore accounts.
Key Responsibilities
Client Coverage: Proactively hunt and manage relationships with Taiwanese Financial Institutions, specifically focusing on Offshore Banking Units (OBU), Treasury desks, and Investment departments.
Product Sales: Distribute a range of Fixed Income products, with a strong focus on Private Placements (PP), Certificate of Deposits (CDs), and Illiquid/Structured Credit.
Deal Origination: Identify the yield requirements of Taiwanese bank treasuries and work with the trading/structuring team to create bespoke investment solutions (e.g., Callable Zeros, Credit-Linked Notes).
Market Intelligence: Provide color on the Taiwanese market flows, regulatory changes (OBU vs DBU), and client risk appetite to the internal trading desk.
Revenue Generation: Own your book of business and drive revenue through active solicitation and deal closing.
Requirements
Experience: Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in Fixed Income Sales, Credit Sales, or Institutional Sales.
Network: Ideally active, transferable relationships with Taiwanese Banks (Tier 1 & 2), with a preference for connections in Offshore/OBU accounts.
Product Knowledge: Strong understanding of Private Placements, Credit structures, and how bank treasuries manage liquidity and yield.
Language: Native or fluent Mandarin is essential for client coverage; professional proficiency in English.
