A prominent regional Private Wealth Management firm, renowned for its deep market knowledge and comprehensive suite of investment solutions, is partnering with Randstad to hire a Senior Fixed Income Sales & Advisory Specialist for their front-office desk. This critical role involves advising High-Net-Worth (HNW) and Ultra-High-Net-Worth (UHNW) clients directly and in partnership with Relationship Managers (RMs).
Key Responsibilities:
Expert Advisory: Act as the subject matter expert for fixed income, delivering bespoke investment advice, trading strategies, and portfolio construction across the primary and secondary bond markets to PWM clients.
Sales & Revenue Generation: Partner with Relationship Managers to pitch, market, and execute fixed income solutions (including IG, HY, and structured credit) to deepen client penetration and drive revenue growth for the desk.
Market Intelligence: Provide timely, high-quality market updates, commentary, and trade ideas to the front office team and clients.
Execution & Dealing: Handle quote requests, execution, and life-cycle management for fixed income transactions, ensuring best execution for HNW/UHNW clients.
Product Diligence: Collaborate with product teams and external counterparties to enhance the firm's bond shelf and ensure product suitability and compliance.
Requirements:
Experience: A minimum of 6 years of relevant front-office experience in Fixed Income Sales, Advisory, or Product roles, with direct exposure to Private Banking or Private Wealth Management clients.
Deep Product Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of global fixed income instruments, including Investment Grade (IG), High Yield (HY), Sovereign bonds, corporate bonds, and fixed income derivatives/structured products.
Communication & Presentation: Exceptional ability to articulate complex credit and market concepts clearly and persuasively to sophisticated clients and internal RMs.
Licensing: Relevant regulatory licenses (e.g., SFC Type 1 and others as required) are mandatory.
Language: Fluency in English and Mandarin (Putonghua) is highly preferred to effectively cover the firm’s regional HNW client base.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline. A CFA qualification is a strong advantage.
