about the job.This is a critical hire for a China Tech Equity Research Analyst tasked with covering the next generation of disruptive technology companies. Your primary mandate is to generate alpha by producing highly differentiated, proprietary research that goes beyond consensus calls.
- Act as a revenue-generating partner by actively contributing investment ideas for the portfolio.
- Provide deep fundamental coverage of China TMT (Technology, Media, Telecom) sectors, primarily focusing on HK-listed and China A-Share companies, preferably application-specific insights.
- Utilize existing relationships and develop new ones to access industry experts and management teams, ensuring your research is based on unique, proprietary data and insights.
- Conduct complex financial modeling, valuation, and scenario analysis from a buy-side investment perspective.
- Work closely with the Portfolio Manager and CIO to integrate research into investment decisions.
skills & experiences required.- Experience: 3-5 years of professional experience as an Equity Research Analyst.
- Sector Focus: Expertise in the China TMT sectors highly preferred.
- Must possess an independent opinion and the ability to demonstrate an investment or risk price-taking perspective.
- Strong financial modeling, financial analysis, and valuation skills are essential.
- CFA Charterholder or candidate is a strong plus.
- Fluency in Mandarin and English required for market communication and internal reports.
