The Equity Capital Markets (ECM) team consists of collaborative and high-performing professionals dedicated to originating and executing complex equity financing solutions. about the job.
- Lead and manage end-to-end execution of ECM transactions, including IPOs, secondary placements, rights issues, and block trades.
- Structure equity offerings and draft transaction documents in compliance with HKEX Listing Rules and SFC regulations.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, legal counsel, accountants, regulators, and syndicate partners to ensure seamless transaction completion.
- Participate in client pitch books, deal structuring, and valuation discussions to support business origination efforts.
- Provide strategic advice to corporate clients on capital structure, market timing, and equity positioning.
skills & experience required.
- At least 8 years of experience in Investment Banking or ECM execution within reputable financial institutions.
- In-depth knowledge of HKEX Listing Rules, SFC regulatory framework, and capital market execution procedures.
- Valid SFC Type 6 license (Sponsor Principal status is highly advantageous).
- Proven track record of managing and closing equity underwriting and primary market transactions in Hong Kong.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, project management, and interpersonal skills.
