Our client is seeking a Data Literacy Trainer to design and deliver impactful training programs that empower employees to effectively use data and drive business decisions. In this role, you will play a key part in fostering a data-driven culture across the organization.
about the job.Design and develop engaging, role-specific data literacy training content, encompassing data fundamentals, analytics tools, interactive dashboards, and data governance principles.
Create diverse and effective learning experiences, including e-learning modules, hands-on workshops, and blended learning solutions tailored to the specific needs of various teams such as luxury retail, supply chain, and marketing.
Facilitate live training sessions, both onsite and virtually, for cross-functional teams across the organization, ensuring an interactive and engaging learning environment.
Deliver comprehensive training on data tools and platforms, such as Looker, to empower users to effectively leverage these technologies.
Act as a coach and mentor to data champions and key business stakeholders, providing guidance and support to foster data fluency and advocacy.
Develop and provide post-training resources and follow-up sessions to reinforce learning, ensure the practical application of knowledge, and maximize long-term retention.
Collaborate closely with Data Governance, Analytics, IT, HR (Learning & Development), and various business units to align training initiatives with strategic business objectives and specific departmental requirements.
Define and track KPIs to rigorously evaluate training effectiveness, measure the impact of training programs on business outcomes, and provide regular reports to stakeholders.
Gather feedback from learners and business stakeholders through various channels to continuously improve and enhance training programs, ensuring they remain relevant, effective, and aligned with evolving business needs.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Education, Business, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in training, instructional design, or data enablement.
Strong understanding of data concepts, including data quality, governance, analytics, and BI tools.
Experience with modern data and analytics platforms (e.g., Looker, Data Catalogs).
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Experience working in a global, matrixed organization is a plus
Fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
