- Collaborate directly with the founders and business teams to translate complex business requirements and visions into a tangible product roadmap.
- Design and architect a scalable digital platform and new features, making key decisions on data security, and the integration of APIs.
- Drive the development of the platform’s core algorithms and business logic, ensuring the product meets the standards and expectations of target clients.
- As the first permanent technical leader, lead the end-to-end recruitment process to hire, mentor, and manage a high-performing tech team consisting of software engineers and UI/UX designers during business expansion.
- Act as the bridge between technical execution and business goals, proposing creative solutions that align with long-term commercial objectives.
- Review and manage manpower, budgets, and timelines based on evolving project priorities.
skills & experiences required.
- Minimum 15+ years of proven experience within a Bank, Asset Management firm, or Investment house. A deep understanding of investment products and financial algorithms is essentialwithin wealth, management, asset management or investment management is essential.
- A strong background in product management, business analysis or solution design, with a track record of designing digital platforms that handle complex data sets via seamless, intuitive user interfaces.
- Proven experience in hiring and managing mdevelopment teams with software engineers and UI/UX Designer.
- Knowledge of the cutting edge technologies and latest market trends in data, machine learning, or AI is highly advantageous.
- Solid experience in leading project implementation and resource management.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with a "roll up your sleeves" attitude; excited by the challenge of building a category-defining fintech product from the ground up.
- Knowledge of cutting-edge technologies and market trends in Data, Machine Learning, or AI is highly advantageous.
- Exceptional business acumen. You must be able to present to and build trusted relationships with non-technical senior leaders and clients.
- Fluent proficiency in English is a must; Cantonese/Mandarin is a plus. Candidates must be based in Hong Kong with a valid work permit.
