We are partnering with a leading global engineering and construction firm specializing in large-scale infrastructure and civil works; They are seeking an experienced and commercially Contract Manager to join the team and oversee the successful contractual execution of major civil projects.

• Manage the full life-cycle of complex civil contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Ensure strict adherence to all contract terms, specifications, and regulatory requirements (e.g., HSE, Quality).
• Maintain meticulous records of all contractual correspondence, notices, and project documentation.
• Lead the identification, preparation, and submission of contractual claims, variations, and extension of time (EOT) requests. Review and assess subcontractor claims for validity and completeness, challenging or negotiating as necessary.
• Collaborate with the Project Director and Finance team to develop commercial strategies for the project.
• Proactively identify and assess contractual and commercial risks, developing and executing mitigation plans.
• Oversee tendering, procurement, and negotiation of subcontracts and major supply agreements.
• Act as the primary point of contact for contractual disputes, managing negotiations and supporting legal counsel in formal proceedings if required.
• Provide accurate and timely contractual and commercial reports to senior management.

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or related disciplines
• Minimum 8-9 years of relevant experience in contractors/ consultancy
• Member of MHKIS, MRICS will be an advantaged
• Experience in contract administration, claims preparation, with commercial and legal/ arbitration knowledge
• Good communication, interpersonal skills
• Good command in English and Chinese
