You will lead the Cloud and Platforms team within the Information Technology department. The team focuses on resource allocation, technical direction, and engineering quality across multi-cloud and on-premises environments. - Direct daily operations and resource allocation for the Cloud and Platforms engineering team across cost, quality, and delivery timelines.
- Mentor technical team members to uplift capability, broaden domain knowledge, and enforce high-quality engineering standards.
- Deploy, operate, and maintain secure, highly available cloud and on-premises platform services using CI/CD and IaC automation frameworks.
- Implement continuous platform improvement initiatives aligned with high-performing team operational principles.
- Formulate, govern, and audit enterprise cloud governance standards, toolsets, and architectural patterns across multi-cloud environments.
- Audit multi-cloud environments, manage compliance assessments with internal and external auditors, and track risk remediation.
- Oversee FinOps governance, including cloud budgeting, forecasting, cost optimisation, and chargeback/showback modeling.
- Resolve complex production, staging, and test environment incidents through root cause analysis and technical leadership.
- Enforce technology standards, quality assurance policies, and security control requirements across all department platforms.
- Align Hybrid IT infrastructure with digital technology roadmaps, gather stakeholder requirements, and guide architectural trade-off decisions.
skills & experience required.
- Degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
- At least 10 years of overall IT experience, including a minimum of 5 years in IT infrastructure and at least 3 years in a team management role.
- Proven technical leadership experience across Hybrid IT and multi-cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Alibaba Cloud, or GCP).
- Hands-on expertise with automation toolsets including GitHub Enterprise, Terraform, CDK, Azure Automation, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Demonstrated experience in FinOps, cloud audit readiness, risk management, and ITIL frameworks.
- Strong background in cloud networking, IAM, security controls, backup/recovery, and server operating systems; knowledge of AI Platforms & Observability is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Professional fluency in written and spoken English; fluency in Cantonese or Mandarin is a distinct advantage.
