Our client is a prestigious international law firm with a top-tier Capital Markets practice in Hong Kong. Known for handling high-profile, complex cross-border transactions, the firm offers a collegiate environment and a clear track for career progression. As the HK IPO market continues its robust 2026 recovery, they are looking to expand their team with a high-caliber Mid-Level Associate.
As a core member of the Capital Markets team, you will be responsible for:
Deal Execution: Leading the end-to-end execution of Hong Kong IPOs, from initial due diligence to listing.
Drafting: Preparing and reviewing prospectuses, underwriting agreements, and other transactional documents.
Client Management: Serving as a primary point of contact for sponsors, issuers, and regulators (HKEX/SFC).
Strategic Advisory: Providing commercially sound legal advice on listing rules and corporate governance.
Skills & Experiences Required
Qualified Solicitor: Admitted to the Hong Kong High Court.
Experience: 3–6 years PQE with a focus on HK IPO transactions within an international or leading PRC law firm.
Technical Excellence: Proven track record in deal execution and drafting; US-side IPO drafting experience is a significant advantage.
Language: Fluency in English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese) is essential for client-facing responsibilities and document review.
Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships under tight deadlines.
