about the job.- Portfolio Management & Execution: Assisting in the daily management of ETF portfolios, including trade execution, efficient implementation of index rebalancing, managing corporate actions, and day-to-day portfolio risk oversight.
- Fixed Income Specialization: Working alongside Portfolio Managers to build and apply advanced investment skills specific to fixed income portfolios, including covered call and derivative strategies (futures, options).
- Investment Analysis: Conducting in-depth analysis on market trends and how institutional investors are adopting fixed income and covered call ETFs for asset allocation across different regions.
- Operational & Product Support: Supporting the ETF Investment Team in enhancing the infrastructure for the investment process. Providing backup to the ETF Capital Market Team for documentation with Participating Dealers (PDs) and Market Makers (MMs).
- Client & Business Development: Collaborating with Product and Sales teams to address complex client queries and actively participating in new product launches and business development initiatives.
skills & experiences required.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
2 to 5 years of experience in the Asset Management or relevant financial industry.
Strong teamwork spirit, high level of self-motivation, and strong work ethic.
Fluency in Cantonese is highly preferred
Proven experience in managing ETF funds and a comprehensive knowledge of index methodologies, strong knowledge in Fixed Income and derivatives (futures, options, etc.)
Familiarity with financial tools such as Bloomberg, FactSet, and Wind, as well as portfolio management systems.
Basic knowledge of programming languages (Python, R, SQL, VBA).
Ability to work with large datasets and translate them into actionable investment insights.
