As an Assistant Indirect Procurement Supervisor, you will spearhead strategic sourcing initiatives, focusing on non-IT indirect procurement categories not limited to printing, facility management, professional services and business outsourcing. Your expertise will ensure cost-effective, transparent, and sustainable procurement practices that align with organisational goals.
• Collaborate proactively with stakeholders to clarify specifications and align on upcoming project initiatives.
• Execute end-to-end procurement activities, including pre-qualification, tendering, negotiation, and contract management.
• Lead financial and contractual negotiations with suppliers to secure optimal terms and value.
• Conduct business reviews with key stakeholders to assess risks, develop strategies, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Support vendor risk management frameworks to ensure compliance and accountability.
• Uphold principles of value for money, transparency, fairness, and efficiency in all procurement activities.
skills & experiences required.
• +5 years of experience in sourcing and category management, ideally in non-IT indirect procurement
• Proven negotiation skills with a track record of securing favourable supplier contracts.
• Strong analytically and decision-making abilities, with comfort in handling financial data.
• Knowledge of legal requirements for tendering and contract management is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
• Experience with procurement tools/systems (e.g., P2P platforms) is a plus.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills in English and Cantonese.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment under pressure.
• Strong team player with a results-driven mindset and a “can-do” attitude.
