about the job.
- Partner with the Claims Manager to guide the team on daily workflows, case analysis, stakeholder queries, and process enhancements.
- Adjudicate and authorize complex or non-standard claim submissions.
- Oversee the daily workflow to ensure seamless and efficient team performance.
- Uphold the team's adherence to all established service level agreements (SLAs).
- Manage advanced inquiries from distribution, customer service, and complaint channels.
- Conduct performance reviews and create strategic plans for team member growth.
- Lead system enhancement projects while cultivating strong relationships with the agency force.
- Champion initiatives to re-engineer workflows for greater operational effectiveness.
- Deliver training programs to elevate claims expertise across the business.
- Maintain and update all internal claims policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Collaborate on departmental projects and assist in resolving operational challenges.
skills & experiences required.
- Bachelor's degree or higher, complemented by the FLMI designation or an equivalent professional qualification.
- A minimum of five years in claims, including at least one year in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
- In-depth technical proficiency and expert knowledge of claims principles and practices.
- A customer-first mindset paired with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- A results-driven and self-starting individual who maintains a patient and positive demeanor.
- Displays strong emotional intelligence and thrives when working under pressure.
- High proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese); fluency in Mandarin is a distinct advantage.
