Reporting to the Senior Buyer or Buying Manager for Regional Merchandising, you will join a collaborative team responsible for delivering the "right product to the right stores at the right time." This team acts as the engine of the regional merchandising function, maintaining high levels of accuracy across various systems. - Support the regional buying team to execute seasonal buying strategies across all channels, including retail stores, e-commerce, strategic sales, and showrooms.
- Execute end-to-end purchase order (PO) management, including item creation, price management, and on-order reporting.
- Monitor and manage product flow reporting to ensure inventory productivity and sales goals are met.
- Assist in managing the regional line plan, covering flow, weekly stories, cancellations, and business shifts.
- Proactively collaborate with cross-functional partners in Planning, Allocations, Production, Digital, Visual Merchandising, and Logistics.
- Conduct market research and prepare ad-hoc reporting and miscellaneous projects to support merchandising decisions.
skills & experience required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, or Fashion Merchandising is preferred.
- Proven experience in merchandise management or buying within a retail business environment is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical skills, with a demonstrated ability to interpret complex data points across multiple market segments.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) is essential for data maintenance.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to manage interpersonal relationships effectively.
- A strong sense of style and colour trends, combined with an athletic mindset.
- High level of organisational and time management skills with a focus on guest experience.
- An entrepreneurial spirit with a willingness to take calculated risks and a desire for constant self-improvement.
