- Financial record-keeping and reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other financial transactions. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Reconciliation and auditing: Perform account reconciliations, including bank statements, vendor statements, and customer accounts. Identify discrepancies, research and resolve issues, and ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records.
- Month-end and year-end closing: Assist in the preparation of financial statements and schedules required for month-end and year-end closing activities. Coordinate with the accounting team to ensure timely and accurate completion.
- Internal and external collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including other departments and management, to gather information, resolve accounting-related queries, and provide financial insights. Liaise with external auditors and other relevant parties during audits and financial reviews.
- Compliance and regulations: Stay updated with accounting regulations and standards. Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and reporting requirements.
skills & experiences required.
- Associate degree in business administration or related field
- 5 years of relevant experience in commercial
- Can-do attitude, independence and eager to learn new things
- Good written and verbal communication skills
