My client is a well-known MNC, and they are looking for a System Architect to design and develop a greenfield robotics solution for in-house purposes.
about the job.
- Work closely with business stakeholders and translate their requirements into technical specifications and blueprints for robotics products
- Identify and recommend solutions, as well as plan and coordinate the architecture activities that support the business needs
- Define and maintain architecture principles, best practices, and guidelines for new robotics product development, ensuring compliance with IT security policies across different IT domains
- Participate in hands-on development and manage the implementation plan and performance of third-party vendors to ensure project delivery meets agreed standards
- Research and share the latest technology trends to support innovative business initiatives
skills & experiences required.
- Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a relevant discipline.
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in architecture design and development of robotic systems, such as robot management systems (RMS), industrial robotics, service robotics, or healthcare robotics, etc.
- Solid experience in object-oriented programming, such as C++/Java technologies
- Sound knowledge of ROS and ROS 2 or any robotic middleware
- Good understanding of robotics system design, integration, and deployment; any public cloud experience (AWS/GCP) is a plus
- Prior experience in large-scale project delivery and development methodologies within the robotics field
- Strong communication skills and a business mindset, capable of managing relationships with stakeholders and effectively translating technical ideas
- Proficiency in spoken English; existing HK Work Visa holders will also be considered
- Candidates who have less experience will be considered as Senior Engineer
