... Asset Liability Management (ALM)
- Oversee and consolidate ALM risks (liquidity, interest rate etc.), ensuring compliance with local ALM regulations and adherence to the bank's ALM principles.
- Propose and implement ALM risk hedging strategies in collaboration with relevant departments, optimising resource utilisation, analysing cost-benefit of managing liquidity gaps and capitalisation levels
- Collate the necessary documents and information for the upcoming monthly Liquidity Risk committee and ALCO meetings
- Proactively engage with Head Office stakeholders to stay updated on ALM principles, and keep them informed about relevant ALM developments in APAC
Fund Transfer Pricing (FTP)
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Head Office FTP methodologies, policies, and tools
- Design and review APAC FTP policies, including the transition to risk-free rates as part of benchmark reform/migration, in collaboration with local stakeholders
- Monitor the liquidity invoicing/costs component of the ALM P&L for each country. Identify and explain any deviations from budget
- Monitoring the APAC region's financial performance for all relevant metrics
- Optimise and simplify the implementation process, as well as the use of tools, in collaboration with the team
skills & experiences required.
- Degree in Finance, IT or engineering or equivalent
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in ALM/Treasury/Finance/consulting role, within the financial industry
- Sensitive to numbers with strong interpersonal skills
- Sound knowledge in PowerBi or other visualisation tools is strongly preferred
- Proficiency in both the spoken and written of English
