Assess financial strengths, weaknesses, and future credit quality of potential and existing counterparties.
Engage and conduct discussions with senior management teams of counterparties including CFO, CEO, etc
Understand country, industry, market conditions, economic, and political factors relevant to the counterparty's credit profile.
Collaborate with the front office and utilize external resources including sell-side research and rating agency reports.
Prepare comprehensive credit notes containing credit opinions and recommendations for each counterparty.
Make practical business and credit decisions that balance credit concerns with trading needs and objectives.
Maintain clear and effective communication with the internal business functions
skills & experiences required.
Bachelor Degree of above, from a relevant discipline; master degree or professional qualifications like FRM/CFA is an advantage
At least 5-8 years of experience in counterparty credit risk or NBFI/FI credit risk, with track record in covering broker/dealer and bank
Solid credit analysis skills, experience in quantitative methodology and financial modeling is an advantage
Excellent communication skills in English, be able to build relationship and influence stakeholders
Preferred experience with data visualization software and/or programming is a plus
