- Manage and administer life insurance policies, including new policy issuance, policy endorsements, renewals, and policy changes, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to company policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Review and analyze policy documents, applications, and endorsements to ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Handle complex policy-related inquiries and provide exceptional customer service to policyholders, agents, and internal stakeholders, addressing their queries, concerns, and requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate closely with the underwriting team to ensure accurate and efficient policy processing, including data entry, premium calculations, and policy document preparation.
- Perform policy audits and quality checks to identify and rectify any discrepancies or errors in policy administration processes.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices related to policy administration and life insurance products.
- Assist in the development and implementation of policy administration procedures and workflows, contributing to process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
- Provide training and guidance to junior staff members, ensuring their professional development and adherence to established policies and procedures.
skills & experiences required.
- Bachelor's degree in insurance, finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in policy administration within the life insurance industry, preferably in a senior or supervisory role.
- In-depth knowledge of life insurance products, policy administration processes, and regulatory requirements.
- Familiarity with insurance policy management systems and software.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail, ensuring accuracy and compliance in policy administration tasks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle complex inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
- Sound understanding of underwriting guidelines and practices within the life insurance industry.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in both written and spoken Chinese (Mandarin) and English is required.
