    about the company.Our client is a global shoe company that designs iconic footwear, apparel and accessories. With over a century of history, the brand has strong presence across all age groups, genders and occupations. Whether you are going to the market, on holiday, at work or attending a wedding, you can wear a pair of their sneakers. The brand's versatility eases stress for people who don't enjoy carrying a lot of clothes when they travel. To cope with its Asia expansions, they are currently looking for a Wholesale Director to join and manage two very profitable Asian markets - Hong Kong and Taiwan.



    about the team.Due to the geographic responsibilities, you will have teams in both Hong Kong and Taiwan to support your retail strategies. Directly report to the Group General Manager, you are expected to build and drive holistic business plans inclusive of long and short term business strategies and financial targets. You are expected to be an market expert, being able to lead and to embrace creativity!


    about the job.
    • Plan and implement retail strategy to achieve commercial goals
    • Monitor sales trends, purchase and promotion activities
    • Define retail priorities and set relevant objectives / KPIs with stores, propose new ideas and solutions to grow the business
    • Enhance sales reporting and develop operational dashboards to support retail excellence
    • Review and analyze performance data for target setting
    • Identify relevant product mix with customer segments to optimize sales performance
    • Build team spirit and morale by actively seeking and implementing innovative ideas to improve sales, store operations and trainings
    • Focus on people development and talent incubation
    • Maintain effective communication with both internal and external parties
    • Develop in store development including store expansions, renovations
    • Work cross functionally with Merchandising, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, HR and Tech teams to ensure commercial goals are reached
    skills & experiences required.
    • Degree or above in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing or any relevant disciplines
    • 10+ years of relevant retail management experience in the apparel/footwear industry
    • Proven track record in driving sales and managing large scale of stores
    • Regional experience will be an advantage
    • Strong leadership and ability to influence both internally and externally
    • Proficient in English and Chinese is required
    • Team player, self starter, able to work under pressure and multi task
