Support ESG risk assessment framework deployment in the credit department and manage the related projects/ business initiatives
Oversee the development and implementation of the framework and ensure adherence to internal policies, external regulations and industry best practices
Lead ESG governance, including greenwashing risk management
Provide review and guidance over ESG due diligence results on corporate client, write up ESG comments based on the review and support credit officers to make informed decisions
Advice front office and other internal stakeholders regarding ESG related policies
Monitor regulatory changes related to ESG risk assessment and contribute to the continuous risk framework development

skills & experiences required.

Bachelor degree or above, preferably in Finance, Banking or Economics related disciplines
More than 5 years of experience from corporate investment banking front office/ credit approver/ credit risk functions with exposure in ESG/sustainable finance; candidate from ESG consultancy/ Big 4 would also be considered
Track record in conducting risk analysis relating to ESG, sustainable finance, green financing, etc
Knowledge in ESG risk assessment methodologies as well as the related regulatory frameworks in Hong Kong, China, Taiwan
Excellent command of written and spoken Chinese and English, fluency in other asian language like Japaneses is a plus
