As a VP of Supply Chain, you will
...
-Develop comprehensive procurement strategies to support the company's overall operational goals and strategic planning
-Establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers to ensure supply chain stability and product quality
-Monitor procurement costs, implement cost control measures, and ensure effective management of procurement budgets
-Oversee inventory levels to ensure sufficient stock to meet operational needs while avoiding excess inventory
-Conduct market research to identify industry trends and emerging suppliers to optimize procurement decisions
-Ensure all procurement activities comply with relevant regulations and company policies, timely identifying and managing potential risks
-Assist the Managing Director in defining and implementing strategy and objectives, ensuring quality and timely service delivery to all clients
-Aid the Managing Director with procurement and logistics operations activities, including strategic, tactical, business development, and personnel matters
-Organize, lead, and manage the Supply Chain Operations team in compliance with policies, standard operating procedures, and work instructions
-Represent supply chain operations to clients and partners, including participating in vendor meetings regarding general operations
-Proactively lead and empower the supply chain operations managers to promote operational excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement
skills & experiences required.
-Bachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or related field
-At least 15 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, with at least 8 years in a managerial role
-Strong leadership and team management skills, capable of motivating and developing teams in a dynamic work environment
-Excellent data analysis and problem-solving skills, with the ability to optimize procurement decisions through analysis
-Strong negotiation skills, capable of effective communication with suppliers to reach favorable terms
-Only candidates with apparel manufacturing experience would be considered
-Excellent command of English and Chinese (Both Mandarin and Chinese)
