- You will be leading an extensive migration project
about the job.
- You will be focusing on extensive data centre migration project by assessing the risk of transferring applications platform to platform
- Gathering existing operations, planning migration strategies & method statements, future operations and disaster recovery strategy and plans
- Identifying and developing mitigation measures for migration risks in the IT Architecture's framework such as system integration, workflows, processes and etc
- Critiquing, identifying and developing mitigation measures for Risks in the IT Architecture by analysing hardware, capacity plans, rollback procedures, virtualisation & consolidation, system upgrade & migrations, and redundancy measures
- Communicating with different stakeholders
skills & experiences required.
- 15+ years of IT professional experience with large scale IT Architecture, Operations and Systems Migration projects
- Strong Technical Knowledge and in-depth experience in Software Architecture, database management, middleware services, transactional details and integration interfaces
- Experience on working with different stakeholders and able to analyse and solve complex problem
- Experience on evaluating and quantifying both IT operational and project risks, mitigation assessment measures and provide solutions on risk mitigation controls if requires
- Willing to take initiative and team player personality
- Good communication and presentation skills in English and Cantonese is a plus
