A world's leading Corporate Investment Bank is now hiring a Financial Control - Team Head (VP) in Hong Kong.
The position's objective is lead a small team and execute financial control projects across 10+ countries in Asia Pacific. Project coverage will include data privacy, financial control & risk management, data quality management, IFRS policies roll-out and enhancements for top management within APAC and HQ.

about the role.
- Act as 1st line of defence for Asia-Pac Finance by delivering various control projects
- Perform Risk & Control Self-Assessment "RCSA" to identify associated risks and ensure appropriate controls are in place
- Define control frameworks according to the outcome of risk assessments, regulations and other risk events
- Coordinate the implementation of controls projects and formalization of action plans within APAC
- Evaluate historical operational risk incidents, recommend mitigation plans and new initiatives
- Engage in Business Continuity Plan for APAC Finance
- Key stakeholders include local CFOs, COOs, Risk, Compliance, Audit

- Bachelor's degree in Finance & Accounting or any related disciples
- Qualified in CPA, ACCA or equivalent
- 8-12 years working experience, preferably Big 4 trained, with at least 3-4 years of in-house internal control, risk or financial control related experience
- Experience in risk assessment and the design of control plans to mitigate the identified risk
- Strong leadership ability with people management experience
- Excellent communication skills and ability to foster pleasant relationships including outside of Finance department
- Good command in English to communicate with headquarters, business leaders/ stakeholders within APAC
