Investigate AML alerts cases generated by the transaction monitoring system
Utilize transaction monitoring systems and tools to analyze and assess alerts generated by the system.
Conduct in-depth investigations on identified suspicious transactions and escalate findings as necessary.
Maintain a strong understanding of AML/CFT regulations, guidelines, and industry best practices.
Collaborate with internal teams to enhance transaction monitoring systems, processes, and controls.
Monitor and stay updated on emerging trends, typologies, and techniques related to money laundering and other financial crimes.
Provide support in internal and external audits, inspections, and examinations related to transaction monitoring.
Assist in developing and delivering training programs on transaction monitoring and AML/CFT compliance for relevant stakeholders.
skills & experiences required.
Bachelor's degree or above in Law, Banking, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in transaction monitoring or AML/CFT compliance, preferably within banks, financial institutions, or regulatory bodies.
Analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail and the ability to identify suspicious patterns or anomalies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Proficient in using MS Office applications and transaction monitoring software.
Fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese is preferred.
Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
Professional certifications such as CAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist) are advantageous.
