- Assigned to work on client on-site to provide level 1 to level 2 trade floor support.
- Respond to and resolve basic technical issues related to trading applications.
- Monitor system performance and alerts to identify issues proactively.
- Assist traders with login problems, connectivity issues, and application functionality questions.
- Troubleshoot more complex technical issues that require deeper system knowledge.
- Work closely with development and engineering teams to escalate and resolve persistent problems.
- Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement preventive measures.
skills & experiences required.
- Minimum 3 years of working experience as an IT Support or related role
- At least 1 year experience with Trade Floor Support
- Good understanding of trading systems, market data feeds, and order management systems.
- Familiarity with networking concepts and troubleshooting (e.g., TCP/IP, VPNs).
- Knowledge of operating systems (Windows/Linux) and basic scripting skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with traders and technical teams.
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Analytical skills to diagnose and resolve issues quickly.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced trading environment.
