In this role, you will assume the position of a team leader, leading a team of 5 members. You will report directly to the Head of FCC. The team members are known for their friendly and collaborative nature, creating a positive work environment.

Collaborate with the AMLCO to maintain and update the overall AML/CFT monitoring program and address AML/CFT queries from business and operational units.
Work closely with business unit management to draft, review, update, and implement AML-related policies and procedures.
Take the lead in initiating, undertaking, and managing system-related AML/CFT compliance projects and other assigned ad hoc projects from the AMLCO or Head of Legal and Compliance. Conduct regular institutional ML/TF risk assessments.
Stay updated on new AML/CFT regulatory and legislative developments and industry best practices in Hong Kong and overseas, and provide management with timely updates.
Assist in delivering training to staff on AML/CFT matters.

Act as a contact point and establish relationships with regulatory and/or law enforcement bodies (particularly HKMA, SFC, and JFIU) in the absence of the AMLCO.
Develop policies to enhance the sanction management framework of the Branch.
Ensure that the policy incorporates the latest sanction regulations and provides real-time sanction clearance/advisory for transactions.
Provide sanction advisory and conduct sanction exposure reviews during customer onboarding and on an ongoing basis.
Regularly review the Branch's sanction screening program and maintain internal sanction lists.
Evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of the sanction screening system, including system functionalities.
Handle assigned ad hoc projects from the AMLCO or Head of Legal and Compliance.
