- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and create comprehensive job descriptions.
- Proactively source and attract high-quality candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals.
- Review and screen resumes, conduct initial phone screens, and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
- Lead the interview process, evaluate candidates' qualifications, and provide recommendations to hiring managers.
- Build and maintain relationships with external recruitment agencies and other talent sources.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, including timely communication and feedback.
- Manage the offer process, negotiate compensation packages, and facilitate a smooth onboarding experience for new hires.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition, recommending innovative approaches for attracting and selecting talent.
- Utilize applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other HR tools to streamline recruitment processes and maintain candidate data.
skills & experiences required.
- Proven experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist or in a similar role within the retail industry.
- In-depth knowledge of talent acquisition strategies and best practices.
- Experience in full-cycle recruitment, from sourcing to onboarding.
- Strong understanding of retail roles and the skills required to succeed in the industry.
- Excellent sourcing and networking skills, with the ability to identify and engage with passive candidates.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with hiring managers and candidates.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other HR tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
