- Drive organic and inorganic growth of the Transaction Banking business by identifying opportunities within the existing client portfolio and acquiring new clients, collaborating closely with the client coverage teams in Greater China.
- Collaborate with various business units in Head Office to develop and execute Cash Management initiatives, regional strategies, and product development.
- Actively promote and sell the full range of payment solutions, including cash clearing, liquidity management, Host to Host, and other related services.
- Identify, solicit, and acquire new clients, with a focus on generating new business revenue.
- Understand the unique challenges and needs of the industry/client segment and work with internal teams to design and deliver customized cash management solutions.
- Encourage cross-selling of other banking products, such as Global Markets, Loans, Merger and Acquisition, Share Financing, etc.
- Streamline Transaction Banking processes to improve efficiency and operational effectiveness.
- Share updated market and product insights with stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date reports for management review.
skills & experiences required.
- Bachelor's degree or above in a related discipline.
- Approximately 10-15 years of banking experience in Transaction Banking or Corporate Banking.
- Strong knowledge of trade finance, including both traditional and structured trade, as well as solid understanding of Cash Management. Proficiency in credit and risk analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Proven track record in business development, with a focus on performance and sales-driven outcomes.
- Ability to work independently and thrive under pressure.
- Highly proficient in written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
- Results-oriented with strong business acumen.
- Self-driven and capable of building strong connections with internal and external stakeholders.
