- Develop the vision and strategy, and oversee the implementation, of the company's environmental management program
- Review the audit reports, Identify and address any technical training and improvement plans to auditors
- Collect and deliver data for various initiatives, including GHG-Assessments, Life Cycle Analysis Dashboards, providing internal training as needed
- Supporting the evaluation of proposals for sustainability projects, considering factors such as cost-effectiveness, technical feasibility and integration with other initiatives
- Lead and manage international, cross-disciplinary expert teams in resolving complex environmental-related issues with relevant stakeholders
- Assisting the development and overseeing the development of sustainability evaluation or monitoring systems
- Conducting research and benchmark key sustainability trends / alternative material and translating best practices into key insights
- Closely connect with clients on regular basis, develop and help to deliver their sustainability product strategies as well as product disposal
- Keeping abreast of developments, issues and legislative changes pertaining to the Environmental and chemical issues globally
skills & experiences required.
- Tertiary Education in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Engineering of Business Management or in a related discipline is preferred
- 8+ years of relevant working experience in social and environmental audit
- Good experience and understanding of international standards, tools, initiatives related to Sustainability and local legislative requirements of Labour, Health & Safety, and Environmental Protection in South East Asian countries
- Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Environmental & Chemical audit experience
- Willing to travel occassionally
- Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
