- Provide support to store commercial team using business case thinking to maximize sales and profit
- Lead the store business plan process with the store manager and management team, providing relevant insight to support the store challenges and priorities
- Drive and coordinate the financial planning process in the store with store scenario plan and secure financial dimensions are aligned with store challenges and priorities while involving and creating commitment among stakeholders when setting goals
- Follow up the result, create forecasts, and (if needed) activate scenario plans
- Have a full understanding of the Profit and Loss and steer actions to provide ‘store in shape as new’, ensuring investments are done with proper ROI and considering all impacts on the P&L and the business
- Coordinate the staff planning process to secure that we have the right coworkers with the right workload at the right place at the right time, and work proactively with functional owners so that they create rosters and drive productivity enhancements in the right way
- Optimize and develop store results and performance by implementing best practices, using close the gap knowledge to identify opportunities and follow-up KPIs
- Lead the financial planning process for new store, and follow up with the result and forecast
- Ensure a safe, secure and compliant working environment for our customers, suppliers, and coworkers, securing implementation of relevant rules, guidelines and standard operating procedures
- Lead by example and takes a multidimensional approach to steering the business in an approachable, trustworthy, and knowledgeable way
skills & experiences required.
- over 5 years’ experience in sales, operations, or finance; with team management experience in retail industry
- understanding of P&L accounts
- work across functions and influence a matrix organization
- excellent command of financial and operational analytics
- experience in setting and implementing action plan, budgets, and goals
- line management experience and ability to manage poor performance
- high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- good command of spoken and written English
