about the company.Our client has decades of history in food distrubting and importing. They offer service including sourcing, storage, quailty control, food processing, sales and logistics. With an experienced fresh food team, they had set up an ecommerce platform earlier to cope with the change of consumer shopping behavior. To further expand the business, they are opening a new physical store in HK this year. Hence, they are looking for a leader to bring in new inspirations. about the team.You will lead a team of salesperson, store manager and butcher to achieve retail development and business goals. The store is located in one of the busiest residential area in town. Reporting to the Business Development Director, you will act as a communicator amongst store front, customers and corporate functions. You will travel between the office and retail store based on business needs. about the job.
  • Oversee retail store operations and ensure customer experience meets company's standard
  • Lead and supervise store team members on achieving targets, product knowledge and customer service skills
  • Create and maintain store operations SOP to maximize effiency and sales
  • Manage store inventory and ensure adequate stock
  • Collaborate cross functionally on promotions and marketing plans, weekly/monthly/quarterly/annually
  • Manage retail P&L and provide consumer insights for senior management's overview
  • Involve in product assortment selection and pricing strategy progress and provide recommendations on business opportunities
skills & experiences required.
  • 3+ years of experience in retail store management at a supervisory level
  • Experience in fresh food/frozen food products is a MUST
  • Proficient in Cantonese, Mandarin and English
  • Business acumen, ability to lead and influence, great analytical skills
  • Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Manager
