My client is looking for a Solution Consultant (Manager) who specializes in systems/automation for the logistics industry.
about the job.
- Collaborate with Solution Engineers and Sales Team and participate in pre-sales activities such as solution design/review and technical consulting for the in-house solutions
- Represent the team to join client meetings and conference calls to collaborate & build relationships with the client's key stakeholders to understand their needs and how best to deliver innovative solutions to meet and exceed expectations with the development and project team
- Analyze and measure current processes and practices and suggest/drive improvements to time to market/quality/cost/schedule/resources etc.
- Conduct research and exploration of suitable up-to-date technologies to create an optimized solution suitable for implementation
- Create technology roadmaps & develop work instructions and case studies, etc.
skills & experiences required.
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or relevant discipline
- Minimum 6 years of experience in a similar role combined with technical consulting and solution design or, preferably as a Solution Consultant/Business Analyst within the ERP or logistics systems/domains
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems or logistics processes, with expertise in supply chain management, warehouse management, transportation management, or related areas
- Knowledge of any logistic modules from third-party ERP systems such as SAP (Warehouse Management), Oracle (Inventory Management/Warehouse Management), or Microsoft Dynamics (Supply Chain Management/Inventory Management) is a plus
- Good presentation skills and ability to conduct presentations with both internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to understand client requirements and translate them into effective solutions
- Prior experience in a customer-facing role is preferred
- Proficient in spoken and written both Chinese and English is a must
