Our client is one of the most popular global technology consultancy firms in Hong Kong who is currently looking for multiple Software Development Managers who is specializing in Frontend/Java Backend/Hybrid Apps development with solid experience in team management. The right candidates will be responsible for leading a medium-sized team to develop large scale projects from the well-known clients.

about the job.

  • Lead a medium-sized development team to design, develop, test and implement the assigned large scale projects
  • Manage team performance, assign tasks and coach the teammates to ensure the project delivery is able to march the agreed standards, on schedule and easy-to-support
  • Work closely with both internal/external business stakeholders to gather user requirements and evaluate the limitations and risks; and suggest workable technical solutions
  • Participle in designing a set of processes, best practices, guidelines, standards for the projects based on the requirement from clients

skills & experiences required.

  • Bachelor Degree or above in Computer Science or related discipline
  • 7+ years' experience in software design, development, integration and implementation; include leading a small to medium team of developers providing mentoring, coaching and guidance on a day-to-day basis
  • Strong hands-on experience in one of below areas (or a mix and match): (1) Frontend Development with Angular/React, (2) Backend Development with J2EE/Spring Boot, (3) Hybrid Mobile Apps Development with React Native
  • Previous experience in Agile/Scrum environment
  • Client facing & large scale project experience would be definitely an advantage
  • Good communication, interpersonal, problem-solving skill and willing to pick up new technologies
  • Proficient in both spoken and written Cantonese and English
