about the company

Our client is a well-known global consumer brand. Currently, they are looking for a Social Media Specialist (new position) to join their HK team. Ideally you should have solid Social Media planning experience while Digital Marketing knowledge would also be a plus.
about the job
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement social media content, social listening and brand protection.
  • Play an active role in builiding the brand online and through social media
  • Delivers excellent execution of content and customer engagement across social media channels.
  • Develops and manages brands social influencer strategy and engagement.
  • Reviews brand social content calendars to ensure alignment with corporate position and mitigate reputational risk.
  • Measure the effectiveness of existing channels – developing the channel framework, reflecting latest trends and technologies to ensure we’re best in class.
  • Demonstrates strategic insight to develop long term execution plans from stated business objectives and implement those plans
  • Drive data informed channel strategy
  • Track and analyze the effectiveness campaigns.
  • Using social listening tools to look for comments about our corporate campaigns - look for latest trends and spotting opportunities in social media, including advertising formats, channels and technologies
  • Support the creation, implementation and optimization of social campaigns on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Line, LinkedIn and other new up-and-coming channels e.g. Tik Tok, Bigo Live, etc.
  • Lead the reporting on social media channel performance - generating succinct and actionable insight reports and communicate campaign performance on an ongoing basis
  • Share and present data insights internally to influence and guide our editorial and creative /campaign response
skills & experiences required
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience developing social media content for a company/brand or working experience at digital or advertising agencies - preferably in the consumer product space
  • A background in social media or digitial media
  • Highly skilled in online / social media communications including influencer management
  • Drive, competence, flexibility and a willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Digital savvy with a passion for the digital landscape and knowledge of how platforms work, with experience in social listening and data analytics
  • Agile and able to adapt quickly. Can operate in a high-growth business where change is constant, and flexibility is key to ensure success for the greater team
