shipping manager (6 day, located in china) in Hong Kong

Our client is a furniture manufacturing company with their regional office in China. They have more than 30 years of history and are considered as market leaders in their industry. Currently they are hiring a Shipping Manager to join their team. They are looking for someone detail-minded, analytical with good command of English. The role is a new headcount and would be required to station in China.

about the job.

As a Shipping Manager, you will
-Coordinate with overseas factories in shipment arrangement
-Manage and coordinate with HK and China logistics service providers for delivery arrangement
-Collaborate with Sales & merchandising team
-Determine key supply chain KPIs & Suggest solutions for process improvements
-Identify process bottleneck and implement solutions in a timely manner
-Oversee operations(shipment & inventory control) and logistics function
-Liaise with different bookers to ensure on-time delivery
-Other ad-hoc tasks as required

skills & experiences required.
-At least 8 years’ experience in logistics with 3 years of experience in a supervisory role
-Bachelor’s degree in supply chain/logistics, or other related field preferred
-Extensive experience in 3PL, International Freight Forwarder, local last mile and customs broker management
-Candidates from manufacturing background is a plus
-Fluent in English is a must
