About the Company

Our client is a leading MNC. They are looking for a Senior Writer ( Communciations Manager) to join their team.

About the Job

  • You will manage the internal and external communications activities for designated Asia Pacific senior executives including the timelines from preparation to delivery, and sharing appropriate content on different channels
  • You will research, create and edit content for all forms of communications including leaders’ quotes for press releases, keynote speeches and presentations, video scripts, and social media feeds
  • You will manage the messaging strategy to ensure consistent and strong communications on whatAECOM needs to profile
  • You will work collaboratively with other parts of the organization across APAC and globally, to gather relevant content
  • You will ensure all communication materials are aligned with corporate brand standards and compliance requirements, including but not limited to the content and layout design

Skills & Requirements:

  • Passionate about infrastructure and communications
  • Degree in Communications, Marketing, Language or related discipline strongly preferred
  • Minimum 5 - 8 years of relevant experience in copywriting and communications working in an international corporate or agency environment, and able to demonstrate through portfolio of work
  • Experience in working with urban planners/architects/engineers is highly preferred
  • Excellent / native equivalent written English. Chinese language ability is an advantage.
  • Strong PowerPoint skills
  • Strong social media skills with LinkedIn and other social media, e.g. Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, WeChat, Weibo, etc.
  • Experience in directing communications in video format
  • Appreciation of the diversity of cultures across Asia Pacific
  • Successful track record of working effectively with senior leaders in Asia Pacific
  • Ability to work independently, project and time management skills
  • Flexible and willing to work outside of Hong Kong office official hours as and when needed
  • Accuracy and attention to details
  • Immediately available is definitely an advantage
