As a Senior Sourcing Specialist, you will be responsible for
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for the toy category to meet cost, quality, and delivery targets.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, and establish strong relationships with key partners.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements with suppliers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Development, Quality Assurance, and Logistics to ensure alignment on sourcing objectives.
- Monitor market trends and conduct competitive analysis to identify opportunities for cost savings and innovation.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Evaluate supplier performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
skills & experiences required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in sourcing or procurement, preferably in the toy industry.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English
