Our client is a global leader in the cloud connectivity domain, with year on year growth and sizeable market share within the Asia Pacific region. Due to recent success, they are now hiring a Regional Director to join their market leading sales team.
about the job.
  • Acquire new logos, specifically within the OTT / Content verticals
  • Implement sales strategy for designated verticals, working closely with in-country sales teams
  • Work closely with the Regional Business Development team, to coordinate long-term and short term objectives.
  • Work with Sales, Marketing, Regional Sales Directors and Business Development Directors to formulate a sales plan for the fiscal year
  • Develop executive relationships within key customers and prospects
  • Lead progression and advancement of opportunities
  • Be the Sales Subject Matter Expert regionally for OTT/Content verticals
  • Support Account Executive coaching regionally
  • Hold regular meetings/calls with the virtual teams/sub teams
  • Act as a single point of contact for coordination of pricing, negotiation for any deal that may span more than one territory with APAC.
skills & experiences required.
  • 10+ years’ experience with proven success in both front line sales and sales team management, with regional responsibilities
  • Experience working in a similar Global Matrix managed organization, preferably from the IT industry
  • Must have a “can-do” attitude and be self-motivated
  • Excellent organizational skills and an ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to multi-task and produce high quality work with key attention to detail
  • Excellent English communication skills - both written and verbal
