As a R&D Engineer, you will be responsible for
-Responsible for performing digital backend physical design duties by applying place-and-route (P&R) methodologies to effectively implement and optimize digital designs
-Drive the physical design process, considering factors such as timing, power, area, and manufacturability to achieve optimal results
-Oversee tapeout processes, specifically on TSMC's advanced process nodes (16nm, 12nm, and 7nm), to ensure that the product design requirements are met
-Perform power analysis and power verification (PV) at the top-level of chip design, identifying power consumption, hotspots, and implementing strategies for power efficiency and mitigation of power-related issues
-Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders throughout the product design lifecycle
-Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and methodologies related to digital backend design, incorporating them into design processes as applicable
skills & experiences required.
-Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronic Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, or a related field.
-More than 6 years of hands-on experience in digital backend physical design and place-and-route (P&R) methodologies
-Proven experience with tapeout processes on TSMC's advanced process nodes
-Fluent in Cantonese, English and Mandarin
