Our client is a leading EU buying office with over 10,000 stores globally. Hong Kong, being one of the regional headquarters, is now expanding and therefore would like to invite some QA/QC professionals to join their team in Hong Kong.

As a Senior Quality Engineer (Electronics), you are responsible for

• Ensure all production are conducted in line with company's ethical and quality policies.
• Manage and review production schedules from suppliers for the assigned category of products.
• Liaise with QC and suppliers on any capacity planning or scheduling issues.
• Prepare and provide weekly in production traffic light reporting to the merchandising team.
• Alert and notify stakeholders when any critical production and quality issues arise
• Resolve any production quality issues by working alongside the QC and QA teams.
• Conduct Pre-Production meetings when needed.
• Provide manufacturing technical support and procedure to reduce costs, as well as improve quality levels and production efficiency.
• Review IVA data provided by QC officers and ensure the accuracy of it.
• Oversee and review inspection activities conducted by the China QC team.
• Perform factory evaluations, implement and control CAPs.

To be successful at this position, you need

• Education background in engineering, supply chain, chemistry or related disciplines.
• At least 5 year experience in a QA/QC role for electrical appliances/ consumer electronics products, preferably at a EU buying office.
• Knowledge in AQL for product inspection.
• Familiar with QA/QC within a manufacturing environment is a must.
• Travel is required when the border reopens.
• Good command of both spoken and written Cantonese, English and Mandarin is a must.
