about the job.
- Lead the end-to-end design process for digital products, from concept, design, development, communication, and implementation of digital UI/UX for in-house web & mobile platforms
- Work closely with other product designers, product owners, and the software development team in the progress
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into user-centered design solutions.
- Identify associated UI design frameworks and produce high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes; follow through with the processes and tactics to implement the vision
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that align with user needs and business goals.
- Conduct user research, and usability testing, and gather feedback to iterate on designs.
- Stay up-to-date with fintech industry trends and best practices in digital product design
skills & experiences required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Multimedia or Graphic Design or a relevant discipline.
- 8+ years of relevant experience in product design, conceptualizing and creating user interface designs for digital platforms (websites, web applications, or mobile applications)
- Background of working in fintech/insurtech/banking/financial services is preferable
- Strong communication skills and a business mindset, with the ability to manage relationships and convey solutions to business stakeholders
- Strong conceptual visual perception, with a meticulous eye for detail and design aesthetic
- Experience with the full digital creative process, including user research, visual layout, interaction design, usability testing, etc.
- Expertise with prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, InVision, etc.
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
- Good understanding of UI/UX design methodologies and industry best practices in web/application development
- Fluent in spoken and written English and currently based in Hong Kong with a work permit is a must
