Our client is one of the leading international retailers with their global buying office hub based in Hong Kong. They are now looking for a capable, seasoned Senior Manager, Social Compliance and Sustainability to join their established team in HK.
about the job.
In this position, you will be reporting to the Department Head to drive strategic sustainability and social compliance programs across the region. This includes building strong partnerships and relationships with different commercial leaders within the organization to achieve the set objectives and initiatives of the programs. You will be involved in developing policies around Responsible Sourcing and delivering relevant training to the stakeholders and uplifting the company's standards and values towards ethics and integrity.
skills & experiences required.
To be qualified for this role, you should be a Bachelor Degree holder with 10 years above of experience in Social Compliance / Sustainability with a leading, sizable buying office. You should be skilled in managing different internal and external stakeholders across different levels and be able to engage and influence them with your strong communication and presentation skills and your own voice. Good command of English and Mandarin is essential for this role to thrive in a trilingual environment.
Frequent travel may be required for this position.
