About the Company
We are currently representing a reputable institution with strong presence in Hong Kong and the region. With continuous development strategy to contribute towards their long-term environmental sustainability vision, they are looking for sustainability professional to join their well-established Sustainability Department, based in Hong Kong.
About the Role
Directly reporting to Department Head, and leading a small yet dynamic team, you will be responsible for
developing and executing the Corporate’s Sustainable Development (SD) strategies, with strong focus in waste management strategies and planning
be instrumental in formulating and implementing the initiatives on sustainability to meet the strategic needs
proactively partner with various internal business stakeholders on consulting the best way and practices on waste reduction initiatives, programs and key metrics to contribute to the overall SD strategies of the organization
developing and implementing engagement plan to enhance collaboration with internal and external users on sustainable development initiatives
planning and executing engagement activities and environmental campaigns for internal and external stakeholders
Job Requirements
Degree holder with around 8 to 10 years of relevant working experience in Environmental, Environmental Sciences, Engineering, Sustainability or equivalent
Knowledgeable in relevant Hong Kong latest trends in waste reductions, waste management, recycling best practice and related environmental policies
Track record of working with cross-functional departments end-users, within middle-large size conglomerates/ corporate/ entreprises/ property landlords environment
Talents who work within the consultancies side with strong technical know-how in Waste Management subject matter may also be considered
Independent, well-organised, self-motivated team player with strong interpersonal skills
Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese. Mandarin is a plus
Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
