Our client is an international corporation that are looking to hire a newly created employment lawyer to be responsible for Hong Kong and some PRC matters.
... - Provide legal advice to all business units on employment law matters including terminations, discrimination etc.
- Review employment contracts and other contractual arrangements for the Hong Kong office
- Involved in implementing employee relation projects across all business units and employees as well as growing any new technological initiatives
- Work closely with the HR and investigations functions to improve existing HR policies and to assist with any potential investigations
- Manage and engage with external counsel when required
skills & experiences required.
You should have a minimum of 8+ years PQE gained from leading law firms and/or MNCs in the employment law practice area. Your experience should be Hong Kong focused with ideally some working knowledge of PRC employment regulations and other APAC jurisdictions will be highly advantageous. Fluency in both English and Mandarin is required, with the ability to draft.
